History

I started my writing career as a poet, winning a local poetry competition when I was eleven. Now I work as a freelance writer and editor specializing in ghostwriting and editing books, articles, and copy for authors and businesses. I still write poetry and fiction for fun, and you can see some of my published work on this site. I earned my master's degree in creative writing from the University of Oxford and my bachelor's degree in writing, literature, and publishing from Emerson College. In addition, I have attended creative writing programs at Cambridge University, Columbia University, and Naropa University's Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics. My poetry appears in journals, magazines, and online periodicals, including The Chaffey ReviewPoetry Quarterly, and Red Noise Collective. My ghostwriting appears in publications such as Psychology Today and Good Therapy. I have copy-edited books, magazines, promotional material, and other documents for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Wildwood School, the Jewish Community Foundation, and many other clients.

I am currently based in Los Angeles.
